Pull the track bar. Look at the lower bracket hole. Is it egg shaped? If it is, you are going to have to fix it. When the track bar becomes loose and the bolt bangs around, it can ream out the hole, then it will move around on you.

That is a good idea. I'd thought about check for tightness but forgot about the fact that the holes may be damaged in some way. I'll be sure to pull the bolt and look at the hole.

PS, how was Moab?? Let's see pix!

Getting married AND getting a promotion at work makes for a busy month... However... Got the "new" Savvy rear bumper on the back. Need to post pix, but so far I love it! Now I just need a gas tank tuck.

I have a question about your UCF skid...Are you only using 4 out of 6 mounting holes with the clayton long arm? Thanks!

Yes two of the holes are covered. Never worried me though. The whole package is very stout.

Not much in the way of build up, but I finally have some time post wedding and post move for an update. Went and did a little wheeling today with some other members of the forum. Had a blast. The Jeep is really performing the way I want. Minus the need to adjust bumpstops. But that's just one more excuse to snag some Metalcloak fenders.

Some flex pix.

And the best part of the day... For anyone who's ever hit up Rattlesnake and seen Wayne's World, I've been trying this obstacle for the last 18 months or so. Nice to know the new suspension setup with the new stickier tires is working!

Video is from an iphone... Gives you the gist.

Dude I'm so pissed that your video didn't turn out right! Brooke felt terrible when we went to look at everything and it wasn't there. Guess it's just a reason to go back and try it again.

Anybody ordered anything from Savvy lately? I've got a job adding clearance to my brother in law's dad's rig. I'd like to order a GTS from Savvy, but I definitely don't want to wait two months for the order to ship... Anybody got any word about them? I'm planning on PMing Gerald and seeing what he could do for me once I get the ok from the owner, but I'd like to go into it with some information as well.

I've looked at that and have really wanted to try it. But I was under the impression that the savvy skid, when combined with a BL would net closer to 1.5 or 2 inches of clearance, instead of just 1. Is that not accurate?

New side project idea for the Jeep today. I'm having issues with faded factory fog lights. They're bugging me. Ha! What would everybody recommend to re-finish? So far I've though regular rustoleum semi-gloss, rustoleum automotive enamel, or plastidip. My big concern is how well the finished product will hold up in the sun. So far the regular rustoleum I've used on my bumper looks decent. But I don't want to look cheap either. Any first hand experience would be welcome!
