Making some progress, hope to have this buttoned up today.

Sanded, painted, resanded, repainted, etc:

Back to black for now:

Bill (one of my wheeling partners) donated several hours of time helping me with these. And by helping, I mean I was drinking beer pointing out where he missed a spot with the paint.

Looks a lot better. Color matching is difficult with faded paint. I like rockers and corners black anyway

Nice Trader Joe bag masking paper. Looks good Jay, To bad you burned that $$$ to have those corners to just spray them black later on.

Armor is on! I have a few more minor things to straighten out, but the big part is finished.

Sniper Fab comp cut corners with 3" flare and Sniper Fab w2w sliders:

The rear sits a little high right now because I don't have a spare on. I'm thinking about designing a new tire carrier that I would have a local shop bend up for me, so we'll see how that goes.

Tell me about it . The paint shop said they will credit it towards a total body paint job if I decide to do that down the road.

That was the goal! Trying my hardest to maintain as much of the full body look while improving what I can do with it offroad.

My frame notches are keeping me from stretching too much more backwards, but at 100" to 100.5" (depending on which side you measure ) I'm about an inch shy of where I wanted it. It's not quite a 90 degree departure angle, but it's close:

Now just save up and get the TnT hylines/AEV hood. It would "complete" your jeep me thinks.

Jay, the jeep looks good. Tell Bill I said hi! You two ever gonna come wheel?

::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f33/?uid=152304

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

IndyORV- Dick and fart jokes, titties, throttle, flops, beer, tater balls, and good times.

Jay, did you sell the rear corner armor you had on it already? Sorry if I missed it. Haven't really been keeping up in the jeep community lately...but I am finally down in North Carolina! Interested in a uhwarrie run the second weekend in September?

You can't be first, but you can be next!

Well..... I was about to pull the trigger on a set, then have the whole jeep repainted, but I'm also trying to run the ECORS season finally race at Windrock and I thought it would destroy the new paint job. Plus, I need more go fast parts for my suspension and after spending a Spider 9's worth of loot setting up a nursery, I have to really prioritize.

Sweet! Yep, sold my armor (corners to one guy, sliders to another).

Not sure if I can get away that soon (Due date of Sept. 2nd), but I'm planning a run to The Flats "Fall Rock Crawl" on 9/28. You should come out to that, they put on an amazing event!

James- we were actually joking about you the other day . Bill was over helping me with the jeep and we were talking about Crozet and laughed at how hard charging you were. It didn't matter what the situation- driving the rental car through the cow pasture, spotting, or running the trail- you were crushing it with a bad back and more swear words than I knew existed. Funny as hell man. Can't wait to get back up there.
