Speaking of losing weight... did you poop before the race? It all adds up you know!

Video is up!

So, the GoPro ran out of space after the first lap, but I did get the full lap captured. I had to edit out a few places where I waited on another rig or two (limited to 10:00 min on space on youtube), but you guys will get a pretty good glimpse.

My advice- click the link and watch it on HD and full screen. It is pretty slick!

I'll post up some mini clips from the in cab camera later this week.

Man I couldnt help but notice that you are way too nice when racing. I wouldnt have blown the horn to try and get that guy to let me pass, but thats me Also did you slow down when mud was commin up?

Just Kidding man. Glad you had a good time and you and your rig survived. Do you have a MIG welder to take with you to the pits? Mabe a GOOD 110V MIG and a little generator?

It's in the rules.

You have to honk once to let them know you are ready to pass them. You have to honk a second time if they don't get out of the way. If they still don't move, you can red flag them. Legally, you can't nerf someone, but it happends on every lap.

I had a ******* hit me while I was being stopped by a track worker. A guy rolled in front of me and the safety crew stopped me in the track. The redneck behind me started honking and as soon as the worker cleared he hit my right rear corner.

No damage done to my jeep, but I could have red flagged him for it and kept him from his prize money.

It was an absolute blast, 2 solid hours of adrenaline!

A few shots of what will be fixed or replaced in the next week or so. There is a big rock crawl at The Flats a week from Saturday, so hopefully I can get this thing back into shape by then.

In the pits:

Examining the busted UCA mount:

Taking off the shock- after 5 minutes of trying to decide what to do :

Lost a stinger hold down:

What ever happened here is what kept my rear locker from locker:

Are you going to change the UCA mount to one with a flex joint?

Is that gear oil all over the wheel? Was your breather spewing gear oil out?

Did I miss the part about your Clayton shock mount breaking? If so, that doesn't surprise me. Going to switch to Poly Performance mount?

So is your rear locker shot or did it just not lock? It either looks like the fluid got hot and started to overflow or you blew the seal/bearing.

Also, I'd give Gerald a call and order up the Currie axle housing JJ's. They'll hold up a lot better than the bushings, plus the tower for the passenger side is like 1" thick and ready for some nice gussetting.
