Most of the pics I took at Crozet were on your camera, but here's the few I got on mine. I think there's a few of you, and I know theres a few of Bill's carnage.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)
Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)
"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.
IndyORV- Dick and fart jokes, titties, throttle, flops, beer, tater balls, and good times.

Race Prep is in overdrive
It is official, I am signed up for the ECORS Race in Auburn, AL on April 30th (next Saturday). I'm in Class B and it will be wheel to wheel racing.
I wish some of you bastards lived a little closer, I'm at my technical limit trying to get all of this stuff completed in time.
Huge thanks to Scwabe Off-road, I took the jeep over there this weekened to get more hands cranking on the nuts and bolts.
First up is prepping the transmission for the upcoming strain-
Dropping the old:
Literally, dropping the old.....
New 5 quart pan (old is 4 quarts):
Changed the filter:
Bolting it up:
Done and done:
Next up was keeping the new fluid cool.
Removing the headlight for easy access in front of the radiator:
Sneaking the transmission cooler back there.... not an easy task:
Getting the plumbing together:
Mounted up! About 70% of it is above the winch for good air flow:
Next simple, fun, getting sun burned project (89 degrees in Charlotte today)-
Battery tie down- drilled holes for mounts:
Mounted and terminals cleaned:
More pictures to come..... it was a busy weekend

Gas tank has to be secured. I'm doing a fuel cell, but don't have enough time to swap it in before I leave Friday morning, soooooooo... time to get this stock tank "bolted" into the tub.
Current setup (has been fine for crawlig):
Has to be strapped down by metal- so I picked up 8' of metal strips from Lowes:
After over an hour of bending, I finally got them into the correct shape:
Slapped some paint on there (can't have them not blinged):
Drilled some mounting holes, bolted in the straps:
I re-used the ratchet straps, but may end up removing them. They take up pretty valuable space for mounting tools, spare parts, etc for race day:

Looking good Jay. Im surprised to see you have not made any kind of oil pan skid. Yours is pretty beat up and would kinda suck if it cracked.
Can't wait to see this thing start racing!

Did some more test and tuning (note the beat up long arms and belly pan -all were painted last week ) and did some damage. As if there aren't enough projects, I punctured my steering stabilizer and bent my Anti-rock mount on the rocks.
Stabilizer bleeding all over my garage floor (note the hole):
Bent Anti-rock mount:
So, just off the top of my head, I still need to: - Find a quick release fire exstinguisher mount
- Pick up a tree saver (I have tow straps, no tree saver)
- Replace stabilizer
- Possibly build a fire wall around gas tank (no clue what to do here...)
- Mount Hi-lift jack (my attempt this weekend failed...)
- Figure out spare tire situation- run it, or lose it
- Get magnets for race numbers and sponsor stickers

Um, yeah.... I need an oil pan skid. I can't believe this one hasn't exploded, but it kept holding up, so I kept modding other areas.

I have a GoPro HD mounted to my internal roll cage (dash bar) and my wife will be filming in HD from some spots of the race as well. Hopefully we can put together a nice little video to share!
Also!!! There should be a link to watch the race live! It is fairly choppy, but still pretty cool (I watched the first race this way). When the link is up, I'll be sure to post it. I'll try to keep the thread as up to date as possible through out the week and race day.

Did you use the little plastic rods to mount the tranny cooler? Or how did you mount it?

With the weight of the jeep, it wouldn't have mattered what it was made of, it was getting dented.

Did you wheel off a lug nut per wheel?

The dark spot is a locking lug nut.
