I've been working with a vendor for 3 weeks now trying to get some Nitro axle shafts figured out. Not sure what they gave me, but they didn't fit properly and it (I) grenaded a brand new hub. So, finally as of Friday, I am squared away. New shafts, hubs, and u-joints are in and I can't wait to get out and crush them .

Got a steal on a new RCI fuel cell ($153 ), so hopefully that arrives this week and I can get started on the rear tub.

Tons of trips are starting to get lined up for April, so I will new have pics soon.

That is a steal!

I cannot recall spending this much time reading one thread—but it was worth it. Great rig, man.

The rear has been perfect. I broke a few stock shafts up front, but with the alloys its been great so far. If it holds up throughout the year, I may go to the 38" MTR/K's just to see if the axles can handle them.

The axles will get every chance to prove themselves before a change though. I have 4 offroad trips in the books so far this year with about 16 more planned. March has been slow because of family in town on the weekends and rain. This week- 80 degrees and sunny on Wednesday, 49 degrees and rainy on Saturday . Trip canceled.

So I've gotten a little spoiled? . I was thinking Gulches, SC last wekend, but they close down when the rain comes in. That place gets too muddy and is prone to flash floods, I'm sure it was naaaaasty this weekend. Crozet is only 2 weeks away, but I'm really itching to get back out. I may sneak something in this weekend as well, so we'll see.

Dug up photos of the rig from the first day I bought (5 years ago), then wheeling pictures from like 4 days after I bought it. I think these are in the beginning of the thread, but thought it would be neat comparing them to my last few trips out.

It's a little bit changed

Quite the transformation Jay I was just looking at pics of my own thinking about how different it has become since I bought it.

Also good to hear you still planning on Crozet. I'm pretty sure I'll be there Saturday.

Trying to decide on a fuel cell mount- I like the ATX:

At the end of the day, I JUST DO NOT WANT ANY FUMES IN THE CAB!
