I would definitely check this since your setup is lug centric. It very easily could have been hammered on with an impact and not evenly tightened and torqued.

My thoughts are it's either a offcentered wheel or out of round tire and it's being exagerated by having no weight in the rear and a light mid-zone in the bypasses.

Taming the urban jungle :-).

And by taming I mean sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, dropping off son at school, hunting for a parking spot downtown...

I spy with my little eye...the Duke Energy building. It's a jungle out there.

I was doing some research online and stumbled onto a photo I had not seen before. DrivingLine by Nitto has a shot of the 4550 Mall Crawler racing through Arkansas on their site!

I haven't turned a single wrench on the jeep (thus no new build pictures). It is getting driven 3 or 4 days a week though, trying to plan a few offroading/camping trips in Sept/Oct/Nov.

I'm glad to hear it's driven around 50% of the time. Great pic BTW.

We camp out at Dixie Run every year and have room! You'll see a lot of familiar faces and former competitors with our group

Dropped the jeep off to my friends at Carolina Auto Concepts (Formerly SL Customs) for some loooong overdue jeep love.

New drive shaft going in.
Rear yoke replaced.
Rear lights being fixed.
Master cylinder swap
Rear driver's side axle seal replaced.
Transmission lines repaired.
Thermostat housing resealed.
Pitman arm replaced.
Computer retuned.
Back through emissions
Re-tagged

Also new Atlas breather tube (crushed the old one).

Then finally I can work on breaking it again.

I bought a stock one, I'm not opposed to a Durango box, but all of the reading I did seemed to make me think a new stock one would be ok.

Thoughts? I'm pushing stock Rubi rear brakes and big boy f450 fronts.

The 2000ish dodge 2500 seems to be a popular upgrade for one tons. I think that is what Im looking at for mine now.

I've ran both the Dodge 2500 and Durango masters and the Durango feels and stops better.

I'm running big Ford dual piston calipers front AND rear (same fronts as you) and a stock TJ master, possibly the factory one from 1996 when my wrangler was built and with 180k miles, and I feel like my Jeep is going to endo when I step on the brakes. I removed all rubber hoses from the system, everything is hard line or braided SS hose, and I also removed the factory proportioning valve in favor of an adjustable brake bias valve.

I do have some pedal travel but the smaller bore master will allow higher fluid pressure and greater clamping force at the caliper if you don't need the higher volume that a bigger master cylinder is capable of. You shouldn't need more fluid volume than me with stock rear calipers.
