NC is very lenient when it comes to tire coverage. There is no specific tire coverage law.

I was nervous test driving it around here. I thought for sure I would get pulled over as soon as I pulled out of the garage, Mayland is a PITA about tire coverage.

Im more concerned about being pulled over for wearing harnesses than fenders.

I should have stopped in and looked at your rig when I was last in Maryland... :

Georgia is pretty easy as well. I ran fender less for several years and never even got a second look from the PoPo.

Getting down to it . There is an open invite to The Flats off-road park this weekend and I'm half tempted to go play. If it doesn't rain tomorrow or Saturday, I may sneak away for a half day. It does go against my plans for finishing everything up though.... So we'll see.

Here is what is still left:
  • Get pit setup: Waiting on Ultra4 to reply with location
  • RTV Tranny bolts/light mount bolts
  • Swap winch line
  • Install seat belts
  • Set up Cameras
  • Roof Logo
  • Install stickers
  • Hi lift jack custom mount? Will need a shop to make some tabs or something
  • Install roof LED bar: Waiting on LED bar to arrive. Will need fab help with mount
  • Install winch LED bar: Waiting on LED bar to arrive
  • Water pump?- Check all fluids

Winch line arrived..... Monster Energy green for the win -

Huge thanks to Daniel @ Olympus Offroad for getting this out so fast. He is a competitor in the 4500 class at KOH this year and was great to work with. I figure the guys I can work with that I'm racing against, the less likely they are to ram me in the rocks .

Also, I went to the Charlotte Monster Jam with my son to research the proper way to hit the big jumps, I think I may have learned a few things... 1. Go full throttle. 2. Rev your engine a ton 3. Wave to the fans while doing donuts after the landing. Got it.

I get asked that all the time, even by locals. I've never had one mention of it (or my lack of a third brake light....or license plate light....or lack of side markers....etc.) by law enforcement and they're known to be as tough as they come in the county I live in.
