I'm going with Trail Gears Rock Assault F9 package with the Wilwood brakes. They have a brand new custom inner and outer C combo that should pretty much be bomb proof. Also, Trail Gear f9's are a mirror image to the Curries. I don't like to post up too much until its a certainty, but I've started saving for it.

Trail Gears Toyota axle housing are awesome. There was a buggy in my club that beat a set of them like a redhead step kid.

The new TG knuckles and C's are BEEF. I've been eyeing those, as well.

That's awesome to hear! If I ever go this far these are what I want. I live in Fresno (TG home) and have met Matt Messer and crew and have been to the trail gear facility, good people! I just never hear of any Jeep guys running the axles and didn't know why when they seem like a good deal.

Where was the car show? I figured it was at the Auto Fair, but pictures tell a different story.

Did you go to Cars and Coffee Jay? Did all the exotic guys come running when they seen you? They did the last time a guy I know went in his built JKU.

This is the plan, designed from the ground up for the Ultra4 big boys:

Cars & Coffee, yup. We used to take the corvette out there, but ended up really not enjoying the experience. People were pretty conceded, and acted like you were beneath them if you had questions about their cars. So after 4 or 5 shows, we stopped attending. However, totally different experience with the jeep. Tons of people came up to talk about their old jeep that they sold and missed, or their son's jeep that they were working on, or how they just wanted to get into jeeping. My advice though..... stick with sports cars. They are WAY cheaper .

Good looking axle setup, Jay. If only the parts in that picture were all that was required.

Sigh. Those pesky diffs and third members.

Yep, ARBs are a killer. But I don't need the axle right away, so the goal is to hit a few local crawls while saving up for the new front. Speaking of which, The Flats is hosting an open invite this weekend, I'm watching the weather to see if we will be out there. Love to see some other JF guys if you can make it!

My wife left her Mac at work, so I can't upload the vid until tomorrow. Tons of pics from playing in the driveway this weekend, I'll try to get some up tonight.

Just watched this video.........

Project REDLYNER running Left Hand Canyon, Colorado. This was a snow run exactly SEVEN years ago! See if you can spot the chromed out pimp white TJ.

The best part? We drive it more on the road now than I did back then (minus the lonnnnnng trips to the trail head).
