My wife hooked me up for my birthday-

Mastercraft Baja RS driver's seat!!






Her birthday is in November.... wonder how she will feel if she gets the matching passenger seat??

So now I need to pick up some seat adapters so I can bolt this in. Then comes the Rock Hard harness bar followed by some harnesses. Not sure what color harnesses to go with- Red? Black? White (do they make that color?)?

I tried to save a few dollars by building my own seat brackets, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to snap some shots!

Only took a few hours:

Seat coming out-


Empty jeep!


Stock seat bracket off-


Bracket modified to fit my new mounts-


New mounts cut and drilled-


Test fit, like a glove!


Mounting the new pieces together-


Seatbelt re-mounted, I'll get harnesses later-


Bolting the new seat in. Hmmm, the wife thought I should be working on our plumbing, not the jeep-


All mounted up!

Now I need to get a harness bar, passenger seat, and a pair of harnesses. I'm selling some of the chrome crap that came with the Hummer, so when those funds come in, I'll try to pick up the rest.

Saaaaad day today.


I sold my Z06 that I have owned and modded for over 5 years. With nearly 500hp and 30mpg on the highway, it was an awesome toy.

No particular reason for selling, I just can't justify two two-seaters any more, plus I was still making payments on it, so this will help in that area as well.
