Jay, you can make either one work in front or behind the axle. Looking at your pictures, it'd be easier to fit the universal behind your axle than the bolt-on since the tube takes up less space than the bolt-on brackets. I was running the bolt-on behind the axle and am switching over to the tube (already have it) since packaging is easier and that tube will double as a crossmember. I'll probably run mine in front of the axle above the upper arms right next to the tub step-down. It's tough to say exactly how you'll want to set up your bar and arms but I'm sure you'll figure it out. I'd order up the universal if I were you.

I would say the universal kit in front of the axle.

x2, you would play hell trying to fit an Anti-rock behind the axle with COs and 7" of stretch. Get the universal rear kit with straight arms and mount it like I've got mine in front of the axle.

The TJ bolt on kit looks like it is only for stock rear axle location, anyone confirm that? With my axle being about 7" back, wouldn't the hump in the frame cause the arms to be too short?
Also, with 14" coilovers, is that going to over twist the sway bar?

They have a builder antirock that is the right width you put it just in front of the axle hump tale a little sheetmetal cutting to get the tube in there works great with 14" coilovers
Measure your frame width in the rear, but I am pretty sure I used this one
http://www.currieenterprises.com/ces...t.aspx?id=2779
that or the 48" wide one. If need be I can do some neasuring for ya and figure out what I bought

I bought the custom anti-rock in 44.5" width with 18" arms. The mounting width of the tube it comes with is 43" so it's perfect for the rear TJ frame. I haven't received mine yet but I plan to do it very similar to AW12345.

Jay I'm excited to hear your thoughts about the rear AR after you get the measurements and install figured out. This is the next mod on my list of things to do, paired with a front AR. My jeep is in desperate need of more stability

The funny thing is, between JF and Pirate, I have received about 5 different setup suggestions.
One of the guys I race against (2011 points champion) has a TJ stretched 7" and he runs the TJ bolt on AR in the rear. Ironically enough, he liked his stock rear sway bar better.

????
I'm struggling to see how that's possible. Not that the stocker was bad, but the AR is better......

I can see how those who are doing high speed stuff would want a stiffer sway bar in the rear to keep the body roll as minimal as possible, but I don't know how someone would prefer the stock sway bar over the adjustable antirock
Right now I'm not running a rear sway bar and have a roll center height around 23" so even the softest setting would provide me with so much more stability. And there are so many different AR setups with different lengths, the best thing to do is hop under your rig and take some measurements.

I was suprised too, but this guy is more in tune with his jeep than anyone I have ever met. He and his team run countless pre-run laps every race and tweak or change something nearly every lap to get it more and more dialed in for that particular event. At The Flats, we raced at the same time the unlimited guys did (Ultra4, buggies, etc) on the same course and not only did this guy win B Class, but he beat everyone in the unlimited class too.
Granted the rear anti-rock was new on his rig, still, his comments post race were that he was more happy with the rear stock sway bar.
Either way, I'm putting a rear anti-rock on, I just need to figure out which kit (universal or TJ bol on) and what length.

Jay this may sound funny.
Take a piece of metal, fiberboard, cardboard ect.... Make a 18" arm like the AR arm and see where it fits. Or remove one of your front arms and use it. That would give you an idea where everything fits before you place an order.

Being that I was designing a tire carrier out of wrapping paper tube, it doesn't sound funny. I'm working with some real good shops- Carolina Truggies in particular, and we will have the measurements before hand. But still, I've received about 50/50 feedback on the 18" vs 20" and the universal vs. TJ bolt on.

For whatever reason I can't get the video to upload in HD or full widescreen, so I'll just repost the first one. This is about 5 minutes of lap 1 in the race, we came up on a wreck and sit for 50 minutes and in the process my battery dies. Too bad to, each lap we got faster and faster.
