WTF do you need that for? That's almost 9000 watts (750 amps) of power.

You want that for speed, competitive racing is all about speed isn't it?
If you see race teams during KOH fooling with winches the way they go about it is pretty sad if you are qualifying in a time trail. Not having to fudge with the clutch lever and having a strong and very fast winch would help speed things considerably.

Jay, big congrats on the podium finish! You are well on your way. Next big challenge, learning to weld. Then emergency battery welding with some 6010 rod.

shoot i can't even imagine how fast that dual motor one is. my 8274 is blow your mind fast as is. but yet its a boat anchor. that son of a gun weighs a whole whole lot, even with synthetic. so the weight factor is what i think keeps people from them, and the fact that they are massive.
but x2 on watching those rigs winch with slow winches!

I really like how this shot came out, it may be my new background-
I've got the jeep completely stripped down, damage report looks like:
- Muddy as hell. I have several hours of cleaning into it, several more to go.
- Bent Currie tie-rod. Working with a shop on a potential 1.5" aluminum tie rod. We'll see how that goes.
- Leaking front diff cover
- Rear coilover springs need to be setup properly.

Jay I look forward to getting your Jeep in a couple weeks. Im confident I can't get your valving and spring rates a lot better to get you faster on the track. If I can get a 5,500 lb JK to sail thru the air I'm sure I can get you fixed up right.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)
Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)
"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

FTS! Ready Welder FTW!
Last trail ride I went on a guy ripped the LCA bracket off the axle and we welded it up with my THICK jumper cables and some 7018 rods I'd brought along(sure beats coathangers ). But the only good battery of the bunch was my Sears DHP. Everyone else had non sealed crap. Nor did I remember anykind of mask or tinted goggles. I ended up using my battery in series with a crap Duralast(with an emergency foil blanket draped over the crap battery so if it did explode I'd have a little chance) and my Nike sunglasses. It sucked but we got him wheelin again...

I haven't decided which races we will do just yet. I had a huge ambitious schedule planned, but prepping it for KOH will use up any and all spare funds. I really wanted to race Auburn again, but we'll see how everything goes.
I was working on my to do list and it seems the more things I add to my jeep, the longer the list becomes. I don't get how that works, but I'm still looking at:
Performance: - Rear coilovers tuned
- Rear anti-rock
- Rear airbumps
- Front tie rod upgrade
- Aluminum rock rings for my Racelines
Safety: - New competition roll cage
- Racing fuel setup (new cell, pump, etc)
- Electronics (fuel and power cut offs)
- Aluminum roof
- Window nets
- Air pumper (for helmet)
- Rear tire carrier (custom)
- Lowrance GPS
Misc: - GoPro cameras (my Kodaks will only be good for inside shots)
- Poison Spyder BFH Bumper
Misc Misc: - Baby seat mount (custom)
- Street wheels and tires
So, over the next few months, I will likely be selling:
- Raceline steel rock rings
- Gen-Right rear tire carrier
- Complete RCI fuel cell setup
- Custom aluminum RCI fire wall (insulated to cut down on fuel pump noise)
- Artec fuel cell mount
- Poison Spyder front trail stinger
- Poison Spyder roll cage wilth several additions

I might be interested in your fuel cell when your ready to get rid of it. Pm me your # figure when you figure it out if no one else has their dirty paws on it already haha though I don't post much I'm addicted to your thread. Never thought I could fall in love with a jeep that sports a bra lol keep it up!

I haven't put prices to anything yet, just keep up with the thread and PM me if you are interested once they are listed (or PM me whenever and I'll let you know).
This stuff will be sold/changed/removed through out the year.

Jay you should check out the fuel cell we run in the JK. We run Walbro pickups with a intake pump. It's really quiet and it keeps it cool being submerged in fuel. I'm going to run the same setup in my UTV.
