Anyone have any objections to the Poly Performance rear coilover kit? It looks like it would fit pretty close to the frame cuts I have already made for the Clayton kit.
I'm currently at 22" eye to eye on my rear shock, the Fox 12" coilover is roughly 19" closed, 31" open. So this kit would need to mount at least 2" higher than the Clayton bracket. No way of knowing until it arrives....

It's probably what I'll go with eventually. I like the strength or the mount but can't you just bend some tube and box in the gap?

I think it looks pretty good. I should be ordering a set of CO's for the front and was thinking about the poly axle brackets that weld to the lower shock mount. My Hoops from TNT should be all set. I'm liking the idea of Profender but still undecided.

I'll have to do custom stuff now.

I can save almost $250 by going with Profender resi C/O's over Fox, but they are 3" longer from eye to eye than the Fox and I'm extremely limited on space. Because I'm looking for roughly 3" of total lift at ride height, I can't fit the Profender's.
I'll raise it up slightly for race day, but for all of the rock events around here, I love maintaining that lower stance.
Unless I'm forgetting something, that just leaves rear airbumps and rear anti-rock to finish the go-fast mods. Pretty much everything else will be cosmetic and safety related.

I wanted to do rear C/Os and rear stretch on mine. I ran out of money, but I still put in the PolyPro tower and made sure a C/O will fit. The hardest part is deciding where you want everything to line up and making sure you trim enough out of the frame to clear the tire and not rub the C/O on the mount. It just takes a lot of testing fitting and trimming. Gusset the **** out of everything.
You can even plan your "C" pillar cage mount to line up with the shock mount.
It fits a 14" just fine.
If you plan it just right, a "C" pillar frame tie-in can go to the top of the mount.

Eric! Ha, you are a rock donkey .
Your towers look much taller than the Poly pic. Taller would REALLY help me out. I love that last picture and will most likely copy it.

From Poly's website:
Standard bracket measures 10.5" from bottom of bracket to center of bolt hole
Extended bracket measures 17" from bottom of bracket to center of bolt hole
The extended bracket set is $300 vs $250 for the shorter ones.

Thanks!
So we watched Valley of the Kings (KoH 2011) last night and came up with our list of parts, tech, and travel budget to make Koh 2013 with as well of a rig as I can put together and still be street friendly........
On top of the cash I would get for my selling cage, Profender shocks, and front/rear axles, I still need an additional $11,500 to finish .
So, remind me again on what body parts you can sell- Blood, kidneys, do you really need two lungs? What about spleens?

I think you're a little off. The shell on a turtle is thicker by a factor of 1.6783 while compared to the speed of a Puma, when chasing a rabbit. Therefore, if you hit a nail with a 4 lb. hammer, the thickness of the wood needs to be 4, and your grip should be on your lower regions.

Sperm...
Get the wife to sell an egg or 2 and you could have the whole thing paid for.
More realistically, you can sell plasma for $20ish/donation. And can donate every 2 weeks.
