This event is pretty low key. It's derived off of Solo II auto racing, but just happens to be on dirt! This course should have a few whoops and ruts, but it's designed more for rally CAR set ups. They are short laps too, for me this type of thing is really invaluable practice and prep for high speed sections of ECORS, Dirt Riot, Ultra4 etc.

End of the day it should be a lot of fun thrashing on the rig!

At the half way point, I have the 2nd fastest lap of the 4x4s (we run 5 in the morning). About to start the afternoon session. Got some sweet pics and pretty cool HD bumper cam footage!

Will post more later....

Well.... The jeep ran great, but a couple of bad laps in the afternoon session dropped me from 3rd to 4th place for the day. I missed out on the 3rd place trophy by just one second and was 16 seconds out of 1st place.

Being a B class rig made it interesting. My 37"s towered over the other guys in their 31"s and 33"s, but the rig felt extremely stable. Really happy overall, and can't imagine how it will feel with the new shocks and air bumps (I bottomed out multiple times).

What are the class requirements or limitations.

I know this is going to sound like a dumb question but do you run this type of race in 4wd?

Rig and pics look great as usual

Looks like a BLAST Jay. If you get around to it, could you take a close-up picture of your front end for me? Specifically, the track bar/diff area. I'd like to see what kind of clearance you're working with at that height.
