I saw other people filming, but we didn't shoot any video.

So, after cleaning everything up and driving it around Charlotte, I have noticed a few things. The steering feels funny after the Farm event. It looks like I bent my tie rod a little. It's rubbing on my Anti-rock mount at full lock and my toe-in is about 1/2". I was thinking it should be around 1/4"? Confirm?

Anyway, I know people love carnage shots, so here is what I will be sanding and painting before the Rally cross on the 13th:

Steering and axle love:

Look bent to you guys?

Tie rod grinding on mount:

Front stretch would probably keep my stinger off the rocks... we'll see how RedArcher comes along with his:

Steering box love:

Tube fender action... not happy about that one:

Driver's side slider:

Passenger side slider:

Either.....

Leave the tie rod as is and toe it back out to 1/8"

Straighten tie rod, set toe to 1/8"

Order the heat treated 4340 chromo tie rod and set toe to 1/8 and flip it while you're at it--you won't bend it.

Judging by those damage pics it looks like you had entirely way too much fun. Did you dent that rocker in the 3rd rocker pic. It could just be the reflection and such that makes it look dented.

Yeah, that's actually my lucky oil pan. It has been that beat up for about 4 years now. Anytime a shop or builder helps me out, the first thing they say is "dude! your oil pan is toast!".

I know I need to replace it.... and protect it for that matter. Put it on my tab.

I actually cringe each hour that goes by until I sand and paint it all back to new. Most likely this weekends project.
