clearly I missed something, why are you selling the red one, why not wheel it, it looks good......
The 90 2.5L has the Renix TBI System and it SUCKS!!. I have most likely spent more money on the fuel system than i have on the entire rig. This rig is also my daily driver and the 2.5L is terrible with the hills here in TN.
Like everyone else has said, great deal. I just sold my green YJ a few months ago and replaced with an 03 TJ. There is somethin about the YJ I miss. Anyway, I did the same thing to my 89 YJ's rear end I had in college. I pulled out of my buddy's street and the thing exploded. It sounded like a jackhammer. Good excuse to upgrade though
You said you wanted to run a tj roll bar and tj soft top. Why do you want to. What are the adavtages of those two. I thought about the same thing but wasnt sure why.
If you have ever put a Tj top up and down you would know why. No snaps to break, no crappy door surround to fool with, no ugly belt rail bolted to the top of the top. The finished on the Yj hardware will look like crap in no time.
I also find the design of the Tj soft top to be quieter as well. It is just a more up to date design.
In order to run the Tj soft top you have to have the Tj roll bars. The top will not work with the Yj roll bars.
WOW BRO what a deal i to just did a opps did i forget to tell you i bought another jeep. but i spent alot more then the 600 you did. i showed her this post and she said now seee that is a good deal i would not have been mad as long over something like that. since she now knows what a jeep in that shape costs since she bought her own now. props to the deal and the waiting out the time to STEAL it you theft but yet i to have no soul and would have been laughing the whole time too .looking forward to seeing the transformation of this rig''
and what all did it take to get that tj grill and hood to fit was it alot of mod or a pretty simple bolt up i really like how that looks on the leafs. takes almost 10 years off the age of the jeep.
if you dont mind i would love to pick your head for all the stuff you used off the tj cuz i know where there is a wrecked one i can pick up cheap
His 89 4 inch super lift flat fenders,winch,8.8 lsd4:10s,44 front locked revolvers all 4 corners, soon to be building a half hard top now for the winter,
The Tj grill wasn't bad at all. I used the Yj hood and Yj fenders. I ended up going with tube fenders shortly afterwards. I used the Genright tube fenders and only needed to drill a few holes at the rear for mounting with the Yj tub.
Oh mine helps me work on it occationally, she knows that she can "give me a good ear full and i won't just go to the garage" if we are both IN the garage. It was a great deal, and she will get over it when she is riding around with you enjoying the sun!You gotta slow down on the "suprises" though it will lead ya to a divorce.
