project "Insert Name 90' YJ

So let me start out by saying, I haven't done nearly anything to my jeep yet, other than buy it, and several upgrades still in boxes in my house.

I purchased this jeep August 2013, off craigslist locally, and plan on making it a 'good' off road vehicle, but also travel with it across the country...
I know some guys are thinking 'travel in a lifted YJ...nuts' I KNOW, I am! Haha

With that said, I only have a few pictures at the moment, and the jeep currently resides in a storage unit as its freaky rust free, and I wanted to chassis saver it before salt had its way with It.

The original owner was said to live in SC, so there really is almost 0 rust. I had it on a lift, and tuning it up, I noticed that all the brake lines are still shiny new!

Previous owner did a cheap roll on Bedliner to the interior after he brought it up to mass, and the only rust spot (1 spot) id where your heel would be driving down the road giving it gas.

So here it is, and some things I plan on doing to it.

Apparently, I have to resize all my photos...
This first photo was the add on craigslist.
2900$, great deal.

Evan

Here is the floor pan, some people would disagree on how I should go about repairing it. I want it done right, how would you guys fix it?

Hole is exactly were your right heel would sit while going the pedal gas. It had a cheap peeling bed liner rolled on which is going to be removed.

Approx. 6x6 area with a small amount all the way rusted through.

Not the best picture... Sorry

New battery for the season! I have heard optima isn't what it use to be, but also 15 year lift span...

Plan on doing a hell roaring isolator with dual optimas...
The "plan" so who knows what will actually happen.

Gold plates terminal clamps... Soon to be the only shiny thing on this heep!

Drove around the storage unit, climbed some snow hills while some guys with ATV's were zipping around.

For all the people who have herculiner on your interior MEK does do a great job, it came off VERY easy after it sat for a couple minutes... It appears that the PO did not rough up the paint before applying the bed liner, so I lucked out there. Monstaliner that much sooner now!

The wire wheel on the dewalt drill was I aggressive... A carbon scraper and elbow grease will probably work best.
