One per arm in the front: 4

Two per UCA in rear: 4

So $330 for JJ if that is the case.

I know a guy who works in a welding shop, I'll see if they have any scrap 1/4" we can snag.

I'm re-reading Tommy's build...
I got a crazy idea. We both have upper adj front control arms right? Why make radius arms when we have them already? Could we just take them off the frame mounts and lower them to the LCAs and weld the mounts on? Might have to cut the arm and change the angles or something but it would be pretty easy.

Be just like this:

That would be awesome if you could get some scrap.

I don't see any reason why we couldn't reuse our RE uppers for radius arms. It would save us some coin in the process.

I'll shoot Phil a PM asking for some pictures of his RE radius arm setup on his rig.

As you said, if anything we may have to cut them off where they connect to the axle and reweld them at an angle so they don't contact anything.

Well, we are down to 6 JJs. How about going a step further and doing the same with the rear uppers? Just cut and lenthen, with new mounting spots. So there is only 4 JJs needed.
Yeah, Phil should be able to get some great shots of everything.

Ok...I see you have added a picture lol. Phil has that RE setup.

It looks like they use the same UCAs for both SA and LA kits. I like this idea.

Using atleast the front uppers would save time and money.

for the rear, we could just reuse and lengthen..or just build the longer uppers and reuse the flexjoint, we'd just need to know what size DOM and the thread specs. Or just figure on 6 at $198.

I'm pretty pumped about this lol

I'm in a pretty weird situation..no school, waiting for work...collecting my unemployment and calling my employer to see what is going on.

But since I have barely any expenses, I can save money pretty easily.

Take care Ethan, we'll continue this another time.

Hey guys, I'm liking this plan! Just making sure though, your front UCAs have rubber bushings at the frame mount, correct? Because you don't want those things rotating on you if you went with the radius arm setup. Also, if you need to borrow a MIG, I might be able to loan you my Handler 187 after I get the D44 under my jeep at christmas. Right now I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do about the high steer tie-rod contacting the springs if I were to use the Rusty's brackets that I got. Either way, can't wait to wheel at Christmas! It'll be a far cry from that first NE Ohio group trip in May!

Well guys, it is that time again.

I am leaving tomorrow morning, catching a flight to Wisconsin and hopping aboard a very large, 1,000ft long merchant vessel. I will be gone for about 60 days, I will have my iPhone with me so I will be able to check in every now and again but my picture whoring and heavy posting days will be extremely limited.

I will hope to have numerous fun pictures of the great lakes to share with you guys upon my return.
