ok. done with the axle topic. doesnt matter.

on better notes. finished up my new 97+ door seals and also got my JCR stage 3 sliders on!!!!!!!!!! :boogie::boogie::boogie:

old style door seals (garbage)

new style (97+), got them for free cuz i bought other stuff. he was going to charge me $5 from JY but i would have even paid $20

also, my JCR stage 3 sliders which are the cats ***. it was snowing today, but still warm enough to even think about working outside.

here is a picture that portrays how happy i am with everything:

JCR really isnt even in the same league as RR, its way better. stronger, more available TRE's, stronger tubing...

i say JCR even with the knuckle reaming.

thats what i said? haha. yeah, i figured i wouldnt waste my money on RR. also, i hate the idea of currie's bolt in. its supposed to be strong and bolt in, but $400 is a joke for what it is. if i dont go with a v8 ZJ set-up i think im going to have to do JCR.

Aren't the hood vents on backwards? Any reason you did that?

I wanted a set of Grabbers for the XK, but the 17" sizes were on back order everywhere.

I wish I would have done them sooner. luckily i didnt mess anything up wheeling before i had them. JCR or AJ's sliders would be my top choices. I like my JCR stage 3's a lot.

That is how they naturally go (the GTX vents). They get wider towards the back and that is why i have them that way.

The Grabbers have held up great so far on my XJ. I have even wheeled with them a bunch of times. I bought them instead of a MT because I DD my rig and I dont have the money to be buying MT's every year if they were to wear out from street use.
