Decided to take the day off from working on the jeep but instead of letting it be a total waste I got the battery tray and fuse block mount sand basted. I guess any progress is better than none

I know this is off topic but wanted to get this answer to you. On your post you should be able to click edit, then go advance and from there change the name of the thread. If that does not work for you I am sure the forum moderator can change it for you.

Alright forgot to mention we also broke all the body mount bolts loose the other night except for one that was froze up. We soaked it for a couple of days and our worst fear came true, it had to be cut out. Luckily it was the one underneath the gas and brake pedals so we could reach up top and break away the nut holder. Tonite we got that bolt out and painted a front axle i picked up off craigslist with 4.10 gears in it. We also removed the other front axle and have to will have to break out the torches tommorow to get the leaf spring bolt out wich is also frozen in Here are some pics

Had to start off with the nasty work tonight. The bolts that were stuck in the leaf spring sleeves wouldnt come out even being heated so we had to cut them

Thanks to devers or as we know him Dave we were able to move along, he had a extra set of bolts. He even came over and gave us a hand in setting the front axle in place and getting it buttoned up

Lookin really good guys!

I'm looking forward to seeing it in person, that's almost exactly how I want mine to end up someday. Give me a shout if you need a hand or some parts, I'm local too.

Call me Matt. I have a YJ.

Nice! You guys are moving right along on this build. I'm right up the road too. This thread is almost like a family reunion.. Dave, Matt...

Hey, if you get to the point where you need any CNC Plasma cutting done (brackets, tabs,.. whatever), give me a shout. I've got a small 4'x4' table in the shop.

Definately have to follow this build along

all in all it was another good night we managed to have all the tools on the floor just like every other night

My wheels came in today so should have tires mounted tomorrow and let this thing stand on it's own feet again.
