So serious question for anyone that reads this:

So lately I've been wanting a five speed and had been thinking about buying a little toy this summer to fill the need. Well searching around on the Craigslist and found my exact jeep. Sides it's an 04 with 4k miles more. But it has a five speed, brand new top, and a hitch. Is a rubicon though.

So what would you do?

I would try to find an 05 with the 6 speed in it....Much better transmission

However, the chances of you finding another Rubicon is pretty iffy. Jump on it if you get the chance. I love owning my 6 speed, but I also enjoy getting in my car and not having to use a clutch...

Did you mean to say "is not a rubicon though"? Doesn't make sense otherwise.

I hated driving stick when I first got my LJ, probably had something to do with not knowing how to drive one. However, after several months of driving it I started loving it, and I now own 3 Jeeps all with straight drives. I find driving autos to be utterly boring nowadays.

I should have looked closer....I would keep your Rubicon. If you want a regular wrangler to get on the level of your Rubicon...you'll be spending a lot of $$$

I've found a couple but high miles. I've actually never had or driven a 6 speed but I guess it wouldn't be a huge deal.

Well I grow up driving stick. I've been missing it bad, I do like having the auto to drive. Just don't know what to do

The 6 speed is a much nicer transmission. I have the 6 speed in my LJ and the 5 speed in my TJ. I hate the 5 speed by comparison to my 6 speed.
