If it wasn't for all of those I would have definitely ended up going to UMass, slacked off, smoked too much pot, never gotten involved with professional organizations and thus never landed this awesome job that will pay for grad school. Tactical win.

Its a B****. I was driving 3 hours a day getting to and from work for a few months. Aside from not having any time and the pain in the wallet of spending $1000 a month in gas- but that was 160 miles on the Jeep every day, 5 days a week. Was not a pleasant feeling.

Ohh.... I forgot all about that. I should get around to filing my taxes! I was thinking to buy a bike from a dealer.... but this disease is spreading rapidly. I just might find a bike under $2,000 that I can buy outright and shovel the rest into the jeep.

I like the second option on that one.

Me too. I had a schedule of mods based on my monthly check.... but who is to say that new rims, tires and upgraded brakes cant be the bonus of tax season. I was thinking about selling the current wheels to help pay for the new ones since the moabs are pretty sought after- but I need me winter tires too, don't I? Really though... If I ever met my adult self as the frugal child I was I probably would have hit my older self and asked if I went crazy.

Theres a difference between "need" and "want".....when it comes to getting a refund, most people elect to go with the "want"

Exactly- paychecks are needs first. Tax refunds- wants are totally first.
