So, ive ALWAYS wanted to start a build thread, just never had the energy. I came from the XJ world, but about 3 years ago my beautiful XJ was stollen, and now with my tj, Well, ive decided its time. First i will post a bunch of pics so you can all see where ive started, and where I'm at..,.. As ive done ALOT before deciding to make this thread.
More or Less, what has prompted me to start this, Is my recent accident. I was rear ended while on a work trip in CT. The truck was totalled out by the insurance company and I am getting 6900 dollars, To build the heck outta this thing. Let the fun begin!
The pics: My XJ... miss the heck outta that truck, and my TJ, as i bought it, and physically, how she sits now... Most of my big jobs in the 3 years ive had it have been mechanical, clutch, oil pump, timing chain, etc. plus some cool interior mods, and exhaust.

So.....I've basically got 95% of my build components. about 4 or 5k worth sitting in my bedroom and backyard right now for some weather that will allow me to do all of the work outside. Decided to go with 373's for multiple reasons.
Here is my build list
-4.25" Zone offroad lift. (With upgraded Nitro Shocks)
-Dana 44 rear. 30k miles on it. 373's LSD posi.
-Dana 30 HP, 373's, Alloy USA tube seals, Control arm skids, and an ARB air locker / diff cover
(Still need to get this one geared.)
-Kilby OBA bracket kit to mount a york 210 to be belt driven. ( still need the compressor )
-Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers
-BFG Mud Terrain KM2's 33 x 10.50's
-Swag Offroad Drop Tailgate kit with HD hinges
-Rokmen Trail Corners ( To be painted and color matched )
-Running lights to go on the windshield frame between Top header and Windshield rubber.
-Push Button Start off an S2000.
-In-seat Sub-box. (needs to be built yet)
the BEST part....a Lincoln Electric welder i just picked up!
Things still need to be aquired
-Custom rear CV driveshaft / slip yoke eliminator kit.
-Various Front end / steering components.
-Bar pin eliminators.
-York Compressor and Periphials for my OBA
-Train horns..... \m/
-Anything else i come across for cheap along the way.
Please........comment on my list thus far. I'm still not 100% sure on what i need to do (if anything) in order to beef up my front end and steering. Im not looking to make anymore BIG purchases other than the labor $ to get the HP geared. Let me know what everyone thinks!
