Seems like yall hate the black jeep so I put it in storage

I put a new radiator in the 96 today, made a list of what I need to get done in the next 18 days and tested out the front locker to make sure it worked. No rear shaft in because I put it in the 98.

Crawled right up but put the drivers rear tire in the fender hard, oops. Ill bump stop it once I get the 8.8 done which will be soon

Hahahahha, yeah apparently that is frowned upon in PA as well. I want to make sure I have everything else squared away, so when I get pulled over for going doorless they can't rape me with a lot of other tickets.

Collector's plates, huh? what is the advantage of that and how old does your vehicle have to be to qualify?

Not sure if it verys by state but here the vehicle has to be 20 years old atleast, free tabs for life and you are exempt from any fender/bumper/headlight laws and you have to have a daily driver since you are supposed to only drive it to and from car shows

Just talked to a guy at work and we can get "classic" tags at 20 years and "antique" at 25. I know you get tags for life, but I don't know about being exempt from tire coverage laws or anything.

Yeah we don't get antique tags but were exempt from tire coverage laws. Just because you can only drive the vehicle to and from car shows.

Replaced the power steering pump so I can finally steer and got the 8.8 geared, ended up using my co-workers new 8.8 pinion depth tool and got the gear pattern perfect the 3rd try. Tomorrow I am gonna put the backing plates on and put the shafts and spool in and hopefully put my sliders on. Ill try to get pics

What spool did you go with? I have a mini spool in the 9" and I think it's going to take a little getting used to. That, along with the wide axles really killed my turning radius.

I bet, I got mine through jeffs bronco graveyard. I am curious how well this thing will turn spoold in the back and a posi in the front. Right now I have been moving it around with the rear DS out so getting used to the sound of the posi will be hard haha. Sounds like something is broke up front. I am also going to go with chromolys in the D30 since its only like $100 more than what everyone wants for their D30 shafts around here
