$55 The beadlock version would run my $125 a piece and its very tempting but I dont want to drop to much coin on wheels until I get my tons under this ***** but who knows I might get talked into just doing the beadlocks

If you are ever looking for 15x8 D windows, watch Rough Country scratch and dent section. I picked up four back in February for $25 a piece.

Damn wish I would have seen this earlier haha oh well. Placed the order today, 4 15x7 d-window wheels with 2" backspace. Backspace didnt effect price so I went with that since id rather trim fenders than have the tires rubbing all over the frame rails.

C-gussets, other sway bar mount and inner track bar mount all welded on. Gonna weld on the rock ram mounts soon and then throw the guts back in and paint it all purdy, throw in some new ball joints, wheel bearings, and get it under the jeep so I can start mocking stuff up until the 4.88s get here. Just one more step towards roller status.

Wheels should be here on the 14th too, I cant do much to the jeep itself until the wheels show up, I am in the process of designing and making a battery tray however since the stock one shattered in the crash.

Maybe, if I ever break a bead. I have been lucky so far airing down to around 8psi and never losing a bead, knock on wood.

2. If I can find a set cheap then I will for sure. But I really dont want to dump a whole lot into my turdy. I have a savings account setup just for parts for my rides and thats shared between 3 vehicles so the more I can save the more I can spend..haha

Fabbed up a suck down winch mount and some gussets and welded it on today, its one of our HD LCA mounts I found in the scrap pile, looked like someone had tried welding it to hot and burned through one side and scrapped it so I cut off the other side and cut it out to conform with the truss. I checked for clearance on my bosses XJ with the same truss and it may get tight with the oil pan when sucked down to the bumps but it will clear the steering just fine. I skipped the rock ram mounts for now, can always add them later but hydro-assist isnt in the budget just yet. I tapered the hole for the winch cable and smooted it all out so it shouldnt fray when getting used. Other than that, cleaned the axle all up, and layed down primer and paint.

Also bought a set of ball joints today and a set of wheel bearing hub assemblys. Once the axle fully dries, I will press the balljoints in, throw together the knuckles and wheel bearings, pound some 760x u-joints in the shafts and weld some almost alloys on and get the axle under the jeep! Wheels should be here tomorrow so the 36s cant get mounted up...little by little shes coming together.

Oh, and did get the 8.8 torn down finally. The e-brake cables were rusted to **** along with the backing plates.

Hopefully welding the tubes sometime this week cause we leave a week from today for our cruise!

EDIT: sorry for picture quality, I got an otterbox on my phone and its impossible to clean all the dust off the lense.

Not sure probably not til next month at the earliest. I leave next week for our cruise and all this week I want to finish up on the 8.8. I have done one before though and the instructions on the web site worked pretty good.

Now I just need to make the internals just as strong, lol. I should be ordering the 4.88s for the D30/8.8 tomorrow, I doubt I will get any time this week to work on it.
