Oh no I wasnt able to make it.

Some more work done on the D30, pulled the shafts, cut off LCA brackets, cut off sway bar mounts and measured to make sure it was still straight. One of the 12pt bolts the dumb ****s at chrysler decided to use got rounded off so I cut it out and it kind of chewed the surface for the bolt a little so now I gotta find a new drivers side knuckle. If anyone has one in decent shape, let me know

Today painted up the front fascia, hoping to pick up the 8.8 this week.

Got a new HP30 housing since the other was a little far gone, got both knuckles too, cleaned those up and painting them soon. I cut off the LCA mounts, sway bar mounts and cleaned up the axle in prep along with pulling the gears out of the donor 30 to swap them to the new housing so I can atleast get it rolling.

Tomorrow hoping to get to welding on the LCAs and c-gussets, then maybe sunday getting to throwing it under the jeep but no promises

Spent 4 hours just cleaning up the knuckles, even then didnt get them completely clean but close enough.

Yes sir trying to get it done so I can begin with the summer car in the spring Thats another story tho..all I can say is a cammed up V8, 6 speed, and an open road sounds oh so good!

Speaking of moving along, cut off all the old coil buckets, shock mounts, sway bar mounts and track bar mount to fit this bad boy on

Started on the 8.8 tonight, all I really got done was unloading it and taking off the brake lines. Not sure if I will have time tomorrow to burn the truss in but along with the truss I will be putting Ram assist mounts on it for future hydro-assist, not sure what I am going to do for coils now. I want to keep the overall lift height around 4-5" and the truss adds about 1/2" of lift so I am probably going to stick with 4" coils but I am not sure how I will keep them from falling out since the amount of downtravel I have will be about to where the coil will almost pop under the bump stop. Details..
