Yeah all that little stuff adds up, thats how my red and black one was before I rolled it. Pressure plate was bent, driveshaft was shot in the front, tcase grinded, needed balljoints bad, yadda yadda. Its nice to start over fresh, kind of. I still gotta get this one going, all I gotta do though is swap over the radiator, paint up the new front fascia to match, get a fender and paint it, fix the passengers door and thats it to get it driveable minus axle and control arms.

Heres some pictures from last night

This is where the tire hit the floor, gonna bend it back but the tubing for the cage will be running through there anyways so who knows

Floors look like this on both sides

Body straight as an arrow

Skid will be for sale if anyone wants it, its a 231.

It must be an SE, has the lame instrument cluster, I will either swap over a full one or just hook up mechanical gauges, idk yet kind of leaning towards running auto meteres for accuracy

Need to find an e-fan but more than likely I will just run taraus fans

And heres her resting place for now at work

Don't remember what I paid for it. Shouldn't cost that much to ship. Name your price and I can send it out next week.

Me too man haha I can finally sell the ZJ now. I couldnt figure out why it was tough for me to sell it and then it hit me that I needed a crawler to work on. I got my mustang to dick around with but its not as fun but the stang is much funner to drive. Tomorrow I will be towing it back home so I can dick around with it a little more. Gonna drop a battery in it and get it running right then try to straighten the LCA mount on the axle and put in the new LCAs to get it driveable-ish

6.5" long arm lift and 35" tires or maybe 37s depending on price haha. Yeah I couldnt pass this one up and its looking like it will be an easy rebuild..knock on wood.

Which ones? Haha I forgot in the whole yota vs. jeep war that always happens, got some yota buddies and we all talk **** but I highly doubt my jeep will outwheel his yota, thing wheels like a pimp.

Had a little mis-hap today, jack slipped and went right into the damn tranny line and pinched it and split it. Ah well, **** happens.

But I towed it home today to get some work done but didnt have much time.

The ladies

I pulled off the bumper which was a feature in itself since the mounts were bent and folded over. Then took off the mangled side support. The unibody rail on the pass side is bent at the bumper mounts on the front but not bad.

Went to take the LCA off but half the bolt sheered in the wreck and now the bushing is just spinning in the tube so I will have to cut it out. Might just wait until I got the money for the lift and cut the LCA brackets off at the same time.

]

Thanks to MN road salt, got holes in the floors, but they will be patched when its cage time

And an overall front shot. Gonna have to put in the new radiator soon and remount the condensor then since its half falling off.

And thats all for now. I am gonna hunt down some taraus fans and get to mounting those when I do the rad but other than that, just saving for the lift so I can get it driveable!

Got lucky, guy scrapping an xj, got the HP30, passengers fender, header panel, lights, and a radiator all for $50!It has abs but thats whatever, gonna start tear down and clean up on the axle soon, probably will do the c-gussets, HD LCAs, and inner sleeve plus maybe the truss now, throw it in the XJ and do gears down the road.
