Project-Driver retsto/DD CJ5...

I have a very solid "77 CJ5, been in GA since new. Has a fully rebuilt 258, with a T150 three speed. Plans are for a "tub on" driver restoration. Front end will be pulled, drive line also. Some minor rust to fix in the rear, needs paint. Want to detail the engine, re-seal the trans/t-case,go through the brakes. All the basics...Hope to have her done for spring, she will be used for a local daily driver and mild off road fun rig. Overall I'd like a late "70's-early "80's period look. Work begins tonight

Wow that is super clean! I like your idea of a simple dd build, I DD'd a 79 CJ-5 Renegade 304 V8 in the late 80's, I think your in for a lot of fun!.
Congrats on a Great Jeep.

All body mount bolts(less the two rear)came right out trouble free! Two rear mounts are wasted, only rot on the Jeep!
