Aren't YJs OBDI? Code retrieval is through the flashing of the check engine light; there is no port.

I would leave battery disconnected over night or ground the system for 30 seconds to wipe the computers codes

Got the ole girl fixed!!! the voltage problem was from the ground wires from the ECM being hooked up on the starter, it was sending voltage through the ground. Gonna set the timming and start working on the body ASAP. Thanks to everyone who helped me on this issue, I love this site, Great people and super helpful.

Well folks, Most of you know that I've been in paramedic school for, what seems like forever, over a year now. There is a some light at the end of this long tunnel, we are scheduled to be done with school in august. I have had a little time to do some stuff with the ole DD. I do have the whole body primed, electrical problems are solved, hinges and accessories are painted and now I'm thinking about getting a new windshield frame and glass. I did the hinge painting myself, I used that duplicolor paint shop stuff, for my very first time to ever use a paint gun, I think it turned out pretty good. I plan on painting the body myself, just so I can say I did everything myself. I know I've been saying I'll post some pictures for over a few months but I promise, I will soon.

Well folks, here we are. Just a quick update. I finished paramedic school back in August, passed the registry on the first try. Thought I'd get back in shape with some running, I was near my house when a dog bit me on the backside. Got a bicycle, thinking I could out run the dog, on the first ride I was ran off the road by a truck on the wrong side of the road flipped the bike and landed on my head, compression fractures in T3T4T5T6, 3 broke ribs and a cracked adams apple. was in surgery the next morning and spent a week in the hospital. I'm back at work but I'm on light duty. Been getting a lot of stuff on the double D finished up.
Put a new exhaust on, spray in bed liner on the inside of the tub and got the body painted, I did it myself and all I'm gonna say is, when I start working on the CJ, I'm gonna pay a pro. I'll send some pics as soon as I can.

That horrible. It sounds like you're doing OK. Congrats on getting past school. This is my last week as well and I'm trying to beast it out. Update us with pics of the jeep and maybe stay away from the bike or invest in a good quality helmet.

Geeze, man! Sorry to hear about that, glad your okay!

Mccalla is a beautiful place to live, lived in Hoover/Bessemer for 15 years. Lots of good wheeling out there off 269.

Ok folks, she is done........for now.
Had a little trouble with the way she was running, with help from Que and a lot of other jeepers, I got her straightened out and she's running like a top.

My wife said I couldn't have a torn seat so she went to work on it. It's made out of the outer shell out turnout gear. I think it's pretty cool.

If you look you might not think it's a '95, I got another hood for it when I couldn't straighten out the original one. I also Put on some CJ windshield hinges so I could mount CJ side mirrors, I think it ads a little something different, and I couldn't stand the ones mounted on the doors.
