Project DD, '95YJ

Hey folks,
Last week or week before last, I picked up a "95 YJ. I am planning on making this my DD.
It has a 2.5 that doesn't run,5 speed tranny, hard top, full steel doors and the body isn't in bad shape. For the price, I couldn't turn it down. I am wanting to start this thread and show my progress and if anyone sees anything that I could do better or wanna share some ideas, I will glad to listen. I have a '79 CJ-7 and an M-38 already so I'm not JEEP virgin, just a YJ newbie.

Clean up those battery terminals, and the little 4 banger can be a bast

I can quit drinking anytime I want, but hey I'm no quitter :)

Looks like you have oil all over your engine compartment. Might want to have that checked out

My first prodject is to get the thing running. The PO said it ran hot and would not start after that. It looks " without breaking into the motor " like it might be a blown head gasket. I did see some water on the dip stick so thats why I think or should I say pray, that it's a blown gasket.I also found a busted fuel line so that may have a little with it also. I have a guy I work with who is a automotive machinest and he said he'd take a look at it for me and see what it's gonna need. As soon as i get it out and taken to my buddy, I'll let everyone know whats up.
