ordered my leaf spring liner material today! Got a huge 100' roll if anyone wants some after I'm done.

allows the leaf springs to slide on each other - allowing it to flex better

Great build, and thanks for all the write ups! My steering box has had just about enough, and my p/s pump agrees. Thinking Dakota/Durango or S10. And of course ZJ Tie rods. So many ideas, so little money. I'm in the same boat as you with no welder...

oh I will! Contemplating what I want to do about attaching them up out of the way when disconnected. Bungie cords are just too...ghetto for my jeep.

another stud (or spot) that u can pin it to would be a good way of keeping them up and keeping track of the pins as well

yea that's what I think i'm going to do. Crush rivet in the framerail with a pin like the lower stud on the axle

My speaker set is cloth. I wonder if there is anyplace local I can have them air mold plastic? or maybe I could do it myself with a propaine garage heater. I shall use this thread in alot of parts of my revitialize =D

on the speaker bar? No it's just a cloth covering - rip it off and there's a fiberglass shell below

That's why I didn't say: "update w/pics!" or something like that, it's the Holidays and money is TIGHT.
Complements again on the write-ups in the sig. I've read all of them from start to finish and plan on doing 3 out of the six this spring. (box, diff vent, injectors)

I can't wait to see how that leaf spring liner works!

BTW, I understood the ATHF reference immediately
