That is one hell of a sick cell mount... any chance on making them for other people who are running fuel cells?

Also, is that the RCI 2161a?

I'm really happy with how it turned out... it honestly would be very cost effective for me to build em for people since its all by hand. If I had a cnc plasma then yeah, but wouldn't look like that. The point of me building all my own stuff is so its unique and no one else has anything like it. Ve already got like 6 hrs in the mount lol. But yeah, its the rci 2161a

It looks awesome man. I do love seeing all the one off stuff on your rig. I totally understand the cost effective deal, but you reminded me that I do have a full sheet metal shop with a cnc plasma table at work. 6 hours into fuel cell mounting is crazy man, but definitely worth in when you come up with a bad *** mount like that.

gettin ready for the badlands and UMC this weekend!

Fuel cell ring should be here today, so last night i pulled the gas tank and whil i was at it figured id do some other things.

with the gas tank out of the way i can finally put the UCF DIY diff cover on that i made like two yrs ago

Also, decided to flip my calipers to the front so one, theyre up out of the way of rocks, two the brake lines are on the top of the axle, and three, i can outboard my lower mounts further to get a little better shock geometry.

It was actually really easy. pull the diff cover, pull the rotor and calipers, take out the center pin. push the shaft in towards the center, knock the c-clips out, and pull the shafts. Theres 4 bolts that hold the backing plate on. I pulled the dust cover and all the ebrake hardware out of mine bc, well, it was the only remaining evidence of an ebrake on my jeep lol.

stock config

i guess i lost the pic, but the shock is so close to the caliper that id have to take the shock off to pull the caliper bolt far enough to remove the caliper.

so take the pass backing plate and pass caliper and bolt it to the driver side... yeah... its that simple...

so as you can see the lense on my phone had some grease on it so sorry bout that, i think i had less than 3 hrs from pulling the tank to pickin up tools, it was a really easy job and def one of thos, wtf didnt i think to do this sooner? hopefully more fuel cell stuff to come

Great wheeling with you for the short time I was able to friday, you've got a badass rig and a badass dog! Definitely need to try and get a run in again before you head back to MO.

You make the trip home in less than 4 hours this time? lol.
