I love those gauges. One of the guys on IFSJA did a custom gauge cluster in his waggy or truck with em, and it came out great.

I'm definitely sold on that style. I haven't settled on a dial color yet, but I love the combo of the 4 plus the mph + rpm on the other.

I made a thread in the CJ section about dash ideas,

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f8/dash-ideas-1213396/

Here's my elaborate Auto CAD design of what I'm thinking of

I didn't think about the heater ducting behind where I want to put my 3 radios, so I think I'm going to need a center console to house all of those. And just leave the dash blank with no radios visible.

What do you all think?

I grew up in West Chester, right off Hamilton-Mason and Lesourdsville. My dad still lives on Smith Rd near the Kroger on 747.

I kinda miss it Wasn't as crowded as all of these Navy towns.

Dave, I wish. Honestly I'm still pretty far from daily driving it. I still need to do lots of crap.

First priority is to hook up some gauges (water and oil) so I can make sure the motor is healthy.
Second step is to extend the rear wheelbase, install 1 piece shafts, and order a drive shaft.
Third step is to build the exhaust so I don't get pulled over every 3 seconds

After that I think I could safely daily drive it, But very soon on the list would probably be re-gear the axles, install a CB and a 2 meter radio, followed by a CD player and speakers. This may involve either a center console build or a dash build. There are so many little trivial things that I want to buy after I get it driving, I don't think I even remember them all.
