XJ is a friends up in oregon, he brings it down here a couple 3 times a year to hit up our local desert.
Fox adjustable shocks, rockhard cage, RE suspension, JKS bumps, lots of lights lol, front glass fenders, baja shop front bumper.. anything in particular you wanna know??
thanks Kemp ill see what i can do on the lost pic links.
thanks man, def come on out. we run a slower group with our run with fourwheeler. you would be suprised how fast you can go with your current setup .but yea shocks make a big difference. justin would be someone to talk to about shock difference. his jeep is as fast or faster then mine on alot of that terrain. mine can prolly just take the bigger hits better due to my front shocks and bumps. once hes dialed in he will be very quick. he and i are already out running some very nice prerunners in our group.
Awesome dude i cant wait to get my jeep all buttoned up and desert-ready.
What are your plans for your rear suspension? Im debating single tri, double tri, and now even throwing around 3 link + panhard, lol. My main goal is high speed performance
I run mostly 2wd until you get to a lot of turns, then I throw it in 4hi so it doesn't slide through every turn. Our last trip through Mojave I had to run 2wd (no front driveshaft) and really wish I had 4hi at some points. Basically just use 4hi it as you need it.
haha same for damien when i almost put him in a bush exiting the smaller woop section on the joshua trail. he maxed out the suspension in the seat. i scared him a few times lol
Yeah I figured the weather will be nicer up there. The summer should free up some gas money for me so we should organize a few runs up there though here.
I love seeing a jeep that doesn't just do rocks, this is cool and I would love to do something like this someday...Is there any safety stuff you installed besides a cage incase of a roll at a high speed? Also I might of missed it but are u still running the I6 and if so have you equipped any performance mods? Your jeep is fast and really performs well, i'm jealous man..
thanks man, safety is cage, courbeau ultra baja SS, and 5 point padded crow harnesses.s far as motor shes pretty much stock. electric fan, trueflow drop in filter, i do have the 3 speed auto which helps, and 4.56 gears.
