dude this is sick. i took my 94 grand cherokee with stock suspension 45 mph down a trail once. one tiny bump and you would hear the slam of the tires bottoming out. ahahaha i want to drive through the desert. checked out your vid of the shock test. pretty sick, you can tell that the control over the tires are a lot better. a run like that would have those tires going up and down like crazy with standard shocks. and i can see why the normal shocks would heat up. or probably just blow out over time. love the work youre doing on it, looks amazing.
I wont be able to make it. saturday and sunday we are prepping a friends truck for tough trucks down in del mar on tues. after pismo his whole front end is loose and we are putting on my 33s on his truck. so ill have 35s on my jeep until he backs from ultimate adventure lol.
heres a shot from last year. such a fun event. next year if i have my bumps in ill be racing the jeep.
did you see that stock little XJ compete in tough trucks last year?! that thing tore it up, he beat the hell out of it, easy crown favorite after his first run
Completely stock, and keeping it that way...
back to building... I ran the jeep up in big bear with the 35" MTRs, the jeep did better then i thought with 3.73s but no way would i run that for long if at all.
went down to Compton and picked up my parts finally... RE rear adjust trac bar and Advance adapter SYE.
