So at this point I have put alot of miles on the jeep. I drive about 120 miles every weekend on the highway and have made 2 trips on the toll road thi chicago. I love the jeep it rides awsome and drives amazing. I have no vibrations and can cruize at 75 at no problem. It even rides better than my buddys lifted tj. Rcd makes a very good yj lift. Everything could not be perfect though or else it would not be a jeep. So that brings me to today. I recently have been going through a u joint almost every week. So I replaced the yoke. Problem solved. Then it happened. The stock dana 35 said no more...

Well got the axle done finally and love every bit of it! The addition of rear disc brakes and regear made a HUGE difference. I Just need to quite being so lazy and put the gears/carrier in the front.

Have logged over a thousand miles on the rear and not a problem. Have made several long trips down the highway and even with a trailer on the back.

Trying to decide whats next, front bumper or sliders??? Half temted to build the front bumper to match the rear but like always time is the problem. I actually could make both but honetsly its so much easir to just buy them. Also, I have been thinking about having the tube fenders paint matched to the body. I would just paint all the flat surfaces and leave all the tube elements black.

Well after buying a used set of gears with carrier and relizing 2 months later that they were forward rotation , I went and bought a used axle with correct gears for 65 bucks. I rebuilt the whole axle, stripped, painted it and it is now under the jeep working like a charm. Best part is, I sold my old axle for $80. Ill post some pics in a bit.

Update time. Made A rear bumper awhile ago. Got a FourReal front bumper off a tj and cut it up and made it fit mine with a few custom touches. Also ordered a SYE today and picked up a drive shaft from a xj to be cut. just waiting on the parts to come in. Pics to follow in a bit.

Well its been awhile since i posted pictures so ill try and take a bunch today. The jeep now has SYE and flat belly skid. Now the clutch is shot flywheel warped and my trans needs a rebuild. Oh and the body is coming off to replace the floor board and 6 body mounts. Not happy.
