The first mod was to add the high lift jack, as I didn't have a winch an didn't see one going in the net future.

In went the quad pod speaker boxes, amp under the rear seat, pioneer deck, kicker subs. Lost the storage space behind the seat, but the sound makes it worth it!

Then Drake off road grille inserts to protect the radiator and condenser from bug and rocks. Added the mojave decals from the new JK special edition just because the trail is an hour from the house and the decals look good.

Here is the center console in the dash. I installe the switches for the two sets of KC lights in the blanks, and the air pressure gauge for the on board air in the larger blank on the right.

Here are some pics that show the wiring on the front bumper a little closer. I drilled out the plug holes on the bumper up top for the two lights, and a larger hole lower for all the wiring to fit through. Then I ran the wiring between the radiator and the air box in the engine bay to the battery and across to the drivers side where the factory harnesses go through the firewall.

I had to build some spacers for the lights to clear the forward bar on the bumper. If I had to do it again, I would use square tubing as the brackets cause the lights to shake like a sport bike headlight while on trails. I'll have to fix that sometime in the future, but it works for now.

The bumper install alone without adding lights was really easy. Just unbolt the factory one's torx bolts, remove, set bumper on jeep and start all the bolts. Align the bumper for side to side center and tighten all the bolts. It probably took me around two hours, only because I had to come up with a torx bit that would fit the factory size.

Also...if you are going to drill the switch blanks in the dash, be VERY careful and go slow! The plastic is very brittle. Break off the webbing in the back with needle nose pliers, and start drilling the center on the front side with a very small drill bit and slowly move up in size. Keep the drill's rpm high and apply VERY light pressure. If you run the drill slowly or apply a lot of pressure, the bit will catch the plastic and shatter it. Again, with patience and a careful hand, should be no problem.

Heres the latest picture taken while jeeping at Mount Charleston. ive installed the JKS quicker disconnects for the better ride off road, and the added traction. they will go up for sale once i do my lift. worth the investment, even if for just a few months! Also note the Drake off road hood hold downs. They are incredibly easy to install, and they keep the hood from flopping around on the freeway!
