TjPmort's Sahara Build

I did not like my last build thread so I decided to redo it.
This is my first Jeep, it’s a 2001 Forest Green Wrangler. I got it back in March and finally decided to make a thread for it. I have been looking at Jeeps for awhile. I have always been into Jeeps because that is where my dad works. My family has had numerous Cherokees and Libertys, but this is our first Wrangler. I actually gave up trying to find a Wrangler that suited my needs for the price, and was looking at Cherokees and Libertys. Yes a Liberty, 1) look cool lifted 2) no one around here has one built and 3) I wanted a diesel one. Then a series of events occurred which allowed me to get this Jeep. So far I have painted the mirrors and the rear bumper, got a used soft top off Craig’s list, got end caps for the bumper, and took a lot of stuff out of it. I sold the subs, the steps, the old soft top, the old door surrounds, soon to sell the amp.

Here are a few pictures:

This is one from the first week I had it after I painted some stuff.

This is one after I put the soft top on
Cannot find the picture right now but just making sure I have a space for it

This is after I installed the bumper caps

That is all I have right now. Some future plans are some new tires looking at 31x10.5x15 (or the metric equivalent if I get MOABs). I may get MOABs because my grandparents really want to buy me something for the Jeep and I have always liked those, and hey if they want to they can. Maybe I will get a small BB. For my birthday (coming up in September) I am looking at getting a new stereo and might buy myself some new speakers. Some time before the summer ends I am going to take the Jeep over to my Grandpa’s house and use his lift and paint the axels and frame. I need to get another fog light and fix those. Maybe some Tuffy stuff for Christmas but that’s too far ahead to think.

So the other day I helping my parents clean out our shed and I found my old tee ball bat. Rather than let them throw it away, I decided to fix it up and keep it in the Jeep. Now I do not intend to use this or ever get in any trouble. This was for fun and something to do. I took it out and sanded it and painted it. I am pretty happy how it turned out. Here is it finished.
