yeah its not to bad to figure out. Also the more i think about it im assuming he means if you didnt move the shock mounts the shocks would be at a weird angle. Are you moving the upper mounts up at all?

What I meant is since he's stretching but not changing shock mount locations, the shocks will be traveling along a different path than they did factory and there's a possibility everything won't line up just right.

But, I also said I'm definitely not an expert. If I'm wrong just say so and please explain because this is actually something I'm pretty interested in now

Haha it's fine, I'm not trying to explain too much until after its done because then I'll end up not explaining something correctly and get exactly what I got here. Pointless arguing in the thread

Haha it's fine, this weekend is mostly prep, I'll be cutting each arm long and welding one side, then to trace out my corner armor, maybe some cutting there too

Do you have a second vehicle to drive while the Jeep is in surgery?

Welp we did some measuring and math last night. I'm aiming for an 8 " stretch it seems, but with the adjustability of the arms joints I'll be able to go anywhere from 7-9". This will be key once everything's together to get the wheel centered perfectly in the wheel well. Insert crappy pic of cutting dom with a hack saw
Also got home this morning to some filler neck hose, brands name is thermoid, and the cheapest place, by far, that I could find it was ebay.

Haha I got out the cutting wheel pretty quickly after that.
Not a bad weekend, did some normal teenager things and went out for once.
Then I got my arms assembled, the ruff stuff adapters were awesome, perfect fit with some nice rubber mallet action. Waiting till after the mock up Thursday to weld them, I kind of like the shiny look? Might not paint them black, maybe silver?
