Pics of 2.5 RC + 32" M/T's->

Yes I need to cut my grass...

4WD's all had white wheels when I was a kid and I've always been kind of partial to the look. Not as popular, I know. Jeep rides great, tires aren't much noisier (so far) than stock, and the suspension is exactly what I hoped for in terms of lift and ride. Can't wait to go to the beach...

Awesome, I plan on doing this lift on my jeep. Are you going to Wilmington to go to Freeman park?

I think that you made the right choice by working on the Jeep first and saving the mowing till later. That grass isn't going anywhere.

WJ's are a lot of work!

Nice. You are right, those white wagon wheels remind me of my brother's CJs and 4x4 pickups from the 80s.

I concur, gotta install the new hardware, then worry about the grass. Your neighbors may disagree, though.

Any vibes with this setup on an LJ?

It looks great but I wouldn't go any higher. I'm running the 32" BFG A/Ts myself with a 2" RE BB and I've got all the clearance I need....of course, I can't say about off road. But as far as general looks, you've got all the lift you need. Have you done an alignment on it? Any vibes? Did you have problems with the shock bushings falling apart on you?

Did you need to change either track bar? Nice looking rig, too! Did they send you the RC stickers on your hood?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'll try to answer your questions-

Don't know about Freeman park?? I'm kind of new to the Jeep thing, this is my first one, had it about a year. I'll research it.

We go to Ocracoke and Hatteras. Have not been as much this year as past years.

I wish I had done a better job documenting the clearance change. It was about all I could manage to do (time wise) to get the lift installed, etc... So I don't have an exact figure.

Yeah, re: wagon wheels- when I was a kid there was a big 'ole short bed stepside chevy that stayed up the street. REAL tall. White wagon wheels, white roll bar, full of KC lights, huge tires and a personalized tag on the front: Big Mutha

The other thing is, we spent a couple weeks in Namibia hunting this summer. TONS of cool utility type toyotas and land rovers. Almost all of them had M/Ts and white wheels.

Anyway, I had major vibes ~ 55mph w/ the old out of balance goodyears. No vibes what so ever now. I really like the ride. It's wierd- it has a nice stiff/solid feel on small bumps but you hit a big bump and it seems to really soak it up. Had it aligned when they mounted the the tires, yes. No problems w/ the shock bushings. I did get about a 1/2" shift in the axle, so I'll probably get a adjustable track bar. It's a little close on the driver's side. Oh yeah- they did send me the stickers. I put them on figuring I'd pull them right off, but I kind of liked the way they look for now.
