Thanks you may have seen me around SR, looks like we both started with little white TJ's. I am in process of adding a Rock Hard Sport Cage right now. It is at Maas Bros. right now being powder coated.

I got the new Ten Factory front axels installed and new G-2 Gears, had it re-geared to 4:88's. It now was the power back that it came with.

Made the first cut on installing new Gen-Right Alum front fenders. I looked at a lot of new front fenders but being an old guy I still like the looks of the more traditional flat fender look.

Got the tubes installed and painted, and got the half doors lined up and mounted. Also bought a Bestop Safari Top. I am very happy the way things are coming together.

Thanks you the nice words, trying to decide if I am going to give my YJ to my son, most likely he will end up with it.

After seeing my jeep with front tubes the rear looked out of place

So I ordered the matching rear alum. tube fenders and had them painted an I installed them I think it looks MUCH better now.

some ware along the build I installed a new locking gas cover.

You are correct no snow when I took these pictures a couple months ago. I just decided to start a build link.

I wanted to add a step to each side, but I also wanted it easily removable. I searched and searched the web and could not find what I was looking for so I bought some Carr steps and welded them to some steel plates. Then I drilled and tapped the underside of my Rock Sliders, so now I just remove two 3/8" bolts and I am ready for the trail.
