So I'll have some rustys short arms for sale soon front uppers and lowers....I have new bushings for them - the flex joints just need to be rebuilt (I'd imagine, haven't actually inspected them yet) or replaced with JJs. If anyone is interested in them make me an offer.

Heading up to a buddies tomorrow night for some MUCH needed front suspension work - will post pics along the way.

Better late than never - here are last weekends updates and some pics

The reason I am replacing my front suspension

with this

I bought a used set of Clayton radius arms off of the dude doing the welding - has rebuilt jjs and bushings - ya I know they aren't the sexy trendy mid arms, but just like my leaves - they are simple and effective (and the right price). Had a buddy in our club (brown) cut some brackets for me. Still need to add a gusset to each frame bracket before it is wheelable. I also have jjs for the axle housing I need to install yet. I really wish I had a video of the housing bushings, the pass side we used a ball joint press on and it popped out within like 3 cranks, the dr side I literally pulled out with my hand...

had to notch my skid to fit the brackets - since it is aluminum I need to have someone tig a brace across it to reinforce it before I wheel.

It drove so freakin great on the way home. It will be even better when I put the housing jjs in and get some much needed steering upgrades. Next up is extending the front shock towers and getting some 12" bilsteins on all 4 corners.

I liked the video that Connor showed me.

::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f33/?uid=152304

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

Those arms look good man! I bet it rides awesome now. I'm curious, are you running the factory transfer case shift linkages with that ultra high clearance skid? Do they still work as they should?
Edit: oh yeah, and are you still rockin' the factory exhaust?

thanks man, ya its a huge difference - still a bunch of work to do tho.

I am still running the factory linkage - it works, could be better - the novak is on my short list.

As far as exhaust goes, I had a different muffler put on a few years ago cus I wanted a better sound - I just hacked off the pipe where it curves up to clear the axle at stock location. Kinda a high clearance turn down, lol. Plan was to put a turn down right behind the muffler but this actually worked out pretty well.

Are you really going to leave those rockers bare so they can rust away?
