Dude, I despise soft 8's. I hate hate hate hate hate them. I kid you not when I say that I have spent more time looking at wheels online than I have at any other part. I'm picky like that though.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

well a bit of a spoiler, but if you did soft 8's this is basically what it would look like, This was my friends 2000 patriot blue tj with 4" SL and 1.25" BL, stock fenders cut to flat, and rockmen rockers, he had 4.56's and arb's front and rear but he unfortunately had to sell it. It was really sweet and really good shape and some one got a great deal when they got it. Anyways here it is

edited to less clutter up his thread

Really the only reason I am looking at new wheels is the fact that I am tired of the paint chipping on mine, and I don't like the spidertrax wheel spacers, I trust them 100%, but taking apart the hubs and having to do 1 more step just to get them off is a pain, also I wanna change the look of my rig and I think the wheels along w 35s would be damn near perfect.

Smoke, I love those rims, and if I had the coin to spend on wheels and it wasn't a dd I'd do more bling w the beadlocks, I'd like to get some trail ready beadlocks eventually anyhow

James, for some reason ever since I got my jeep soft 8s have held a special place in my heart, haha, I like the look, and the only way I'm gonna get new wheels is if I get em cheap. I just cannot justify spending too much money on the jeep if it doesn't help it perform better offroad, so pricey wheels just don't do it for me (unless they r walker evans beadlocks)

I do like the V5s, but I like the soft 8s better, that patriot blue tj w the chopped flares is sweet, love the dark jeep w the light top look (obviously). I am gonna spend some time looking at the V5s and see if I like em, cus they r different, but they r almost too retro looking for me.....but if u have pics of jeeps with the V5s post em up, I'd love to see em!

Mike, here is a link to a thread about the V5's with a few nice pictures. I plan on going with these rims as well. Without center caps tho.

Mike, I'll be getting rid of mine when I get home if you like them and are interested. There is plenty of backspacing/width to run whatever size tire you might want to run. I believe they are 15x10's, I'd have to measure when I get home to be sure. 12.50's don't like them too aweful much as you've seen in the past. Either way, they are yours if you want them and are willing to run wider than a 12.50.

Thanks man, it should be even more respectable in about 3 weeks!

The more I look at the V5s the more I like em. They look better with a big tire than the soft 8s do. Decision time
