found this little gem while perusing my build thread - Rods face is key here
it's an oldy but a goody - and it was right on 2 years ago. Good times boys, good times. We often forget to slow down, drink a beer and have a good time while wrenching any more.
edit: oh and light **** on fire

That was a great day. I'm looking forward to being over at your house to drench (drink + wrench) very shortly.

Mmmm mmmm....Damn. So what size are those MT/Rs? And how much stretch are you going for out back? I take it you're going to use XJ springs? The popcorn is in the microwave.

whats going on? Oh a little thing that most people on here wont like, let alone understand why.
The MTRs are 35s, wish they where 37s but I'll be driving this thing more this summer. ultimate stretch is 7" so I should be dead nuts on 100". I will be running xj leaves - probably RE or OME. Spring under so I only get about 2.5-3" of lift.

Sounds like one hell of a plan. I'm envious to say the least. I'm shooting for a similar setup in the future so it will be really nice to see how it goes for you. As far as running 35s go, I think they make sense. 37s can be a lot of money to build around. Take plenty of pictures as you go if you can!
