Oh and let it be known, I'm not spraying anything outside, I don't want to fight any wind/breeze.

I love it! My Jeep is also Patriot Blue, but with the black soft top. I like seeing what my Jeep might look like with the different accessories.
Besides having the coolest name (Happy 4th of July), its also the best looking color.

I don't have a need for 3 guns, one would do, but the $430 gun is too much, what about this one?

Second best looking color...
psshh, whatever

honestly tho, I love silver, and thats why I want to do a blue/silver paint scheme - and honestly, I'll be copying a member of my club so I'll have to get his permission first, luckily he doesnt have the jeep anymore.

And Rod, the reason I said rattle can is cus I want to be able to touch it up cus I know its just gonna get beat up and scratched. I dont want to cringe everytime I scratch it. Its made to wheel, not look pretty...if I can make it look good in the process then thats awesome. The reason I wanna do this is I'd like an INEXPENSIVE change to the jeep - which is why I'm still throwing a few ideas around in my head....we'll talk later and I'll pick your brain. I'm gonna find a pic of smokes old rig

With the paint I linked, you'd have about $40 in paint. But I can guarantee you that a rattle can paint job is going to look bad in silver and on that big of a surface. I can try to find something like an industrial single stage paint for easy touch up, but anything less than out of a gun isn't going to look good. Quite honestly, I don't want people thinking thats the quality of work I do. Ya know?

I assumed as much....but, I may not be painting ALL of what smoke did, if you get what I'm saying? Anyways, if its $40 in paint, throwing in for a gun, some sandpaper and some tape, I'm cool with it. Just need to decide what I wanna do about rear corners....the wife will kill me if I drop 350 on al. corners right now....

I'm all about trying too do it cheep, and make it easy to touch up, I just want to make it look good if I'm going to do it, even if it doesn't stay that way too long.

How come your thread does not get jacked up often? Looks great, I did not know you made your rockers. They look really good.
