I've also picked up a factory rear tire carrier, that's going on soon too.
Sounds like some good plans here, but why an 8.8 for only 31's or 33's? Seems like overkill to me. Chrysler 8.25 29 spline would be plenty strong and it's an easy direct swap.

Why not? I need to do something with the rear axle with the whine I'm getting, a swap makes since, especially since I've got the 27 spline 8.25. The best options are 29 spline 8.25, Dana 44, and 8.8. The 8.25 is the most common bolt in, but the 8.8 is just as available, stronger, and already has disc brakes(big plus). Welding new brackets on is not a big deal for me, I have access to plenty of welders, axle swaps are not new to me.

I understand. Honestly, I wish I swapped my 8.8 into my XJ instead of my 8.25. Nothing wrong with the 8.25, I've wheeled it right hard with it being welded on 35's. I'd just like to have that added security of extra strength. It was cheaper for me at the time to swap the 8.25 than get brackets for the 8.8.

This one isn't the one getting all the heavy duty stuff I've been working on, but it will be getting some toys of its own.

What?

::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f33/?uid=152304

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

IndyORV- Dick and fart jokes, titties, throttle, flops, beer, tater balls, and good times.

The cat-back I've "made" Magnaflow direct fit cat and muffler, this is it until I can get the top end swap and exhaust from the manifold to the cat. I've got less than $225 in it all, including a new NTK O2 sensor. I love working in the parts business!

Edit: Guess the pic didn't upload, I'll retake it when I get back from lunch.

I figured Gary wouldn't mind that this thing would end up going under my knife. I think this one is going to end up more show than go, mainly because there isn't a lot of good places do the go fast thing
