No rain here in Ca!!! We'd take some though, lakes are a little low this year!

The Good:

-Reconnected the battery and the Jeep turned over on the first crank.
-Front diff is fully serviced.

The Bad:

-6 and 1/2 quarts later the trans still needs fluid, it bleed more than I thought.
-Due to the rear diffs new angle I wasn't able to fully service it. So I get to come up with a creative solution to top it off.
-Need to make some small adjustments to a few things. One example being the tail pipe now rubs the GTS causing an annoying rattle.

The Ugly:

-After bleeding the brakes and thinking I was good, I turned the Jeep on and the peddle went to the floor. Since I found the fluid reservoir empty earlier in the day while checking everything under the hood, I'm guessing I got air into the master. So, I get to bleed the hell out of the brakes tomorrow when my helper gets back.

Oh, I also snapped the replacement axle side trackbar bolt while torquing it.

Sadly those are few and far between here in CT, and the ones that are around here are already taken. Plus if I take all that money I would be spending on a Jeep Girl, I could buy some stronger bolts and a new torque wrench.

I bled and re-bled my brakes for a week, finally gave up and took it in. Ended up having to replace the prop valve. Good luck with the brakes!!!

You don't spend money on a real jeep girl. She needs to have her own jeep-parts money.

I'm always up for borrowing if you need a gentle touch ..... wait a minute.
