GEORGIA...always on my mind.

So there comes a time in every young jeep owners life, when they need to sit down when there dead at work and tired of looking at jeep parts, and begin to wright your jeep build! so here i am. first and formost i apologize in advance for my terrible spelling. that being said leave me the **** alone about it.

sooooo, here we are. (BTW the OTH stands for over the hill)
this will be a rather photo intensive thread. buuut first some back story, juciy juicy back story...

i bought this rubi after selling my old 99xj which i still miss. i found this jeep for sale and after driving a few citys over realized it was actualy a frind of mine seling it. so i totaly and completley lucked out with this one.

2003 jeep wrangler rubicon, patriot blue, bone stock, 38,457 miles
grand total,

11,500$

first pic, jeep after i got it home and a bath.

so after jumping around like a school girl, i started to craigslist for some nice little spice ups for the aperence.

There are other ways of adding belly clearance without lifting your vehicle off the axles...like 40s, 42s, 44s, etc

after a few more run ins at the cliffs and some other local places, i really wasent upset with what this thing does out of the box. but lets be honest, im looking for a totaly capable rig. so my eyes widend and my wallet began to shrink. a few work weeks down the road and some planing down i figured i was looking for a semi-LCG rig (dont burn me for that).

Runnin 3in, 35s, short arms, tummy tuck, high line, and so on. so i started saving up. also tossed on some kc high lights. which brings me to 3 weeks ago.

Nice man, did you already get the other parts installed? Those brake lines are cool, gonna have to add that to the list. Why do you think you need to relocate the rear springs at this level? Looking at mine I do notice the awkward forward arch the spring is in but can't really think of a good reason besides it just looking right to alter it, at stock wheelbase.

no not yet. im guna do an all at once kinda thing. it'll probly be another 2-3 weeks befor the full install. the break lines are sweet, they came in a bunch of diffrent colors. relocating the sprins for proper squareness to axle, it will help with rear bumpstop aligment as well. doin so how ever will result in and extra almost inch of lift... not sure how i feel about that. ut will see how it plays ouy
