Okay gentlemen and ladies if those exist in jeep land..

The engine has breathed life. I couldnt be more excited. Let me catch everyone up.

First my boost air pipe was bothering me becuase it wss even and level. So i spent a couple hours cutting and welding and turned out with this. First picture is an old one and second is the new.

Then moved onto the exhuast. I cut and clearanced my battery box and then added some more pipe. First picture is showing the pipe and box before cutting.

Then it was time to move onto the alternator bracket. I made it adjustable which was necessary but i wanted to be able to if i had to.

It was simple just took flat stock one inch wide 1/8 thick about 6 inches long and drilled three holes on each end then ground the holes together to make one long hole.

It didnt have to be adjustable i just wanted to make sure i was going to have enough room for my new belt.

I went to the local NAPA and had measure for my new belt. My measurement said 82 and 1/8. However they didnt have that belt but they did have one which was 81 1/8 so i got it.

It fits really good with one exception. I keep throwing the belt on the top of the ac compressor.

So tonight i am going to move my ac comp. Back about half an inch. Drill and tap new holes. No biggie.

I will post a video of it running tonight. Its a beasts. The entire jeep shakes in fear of the engine. Literally the entire jeep shakes at idle. Pretty awesome.

I hear the belt problem with your York is common. It's a good idea to order a dual channel alternator pully from Kilby and have a seperate compressor belt that runs off the second channel. That's what I plan on doing when I finally get around to building my setup.

Hey fella's. No heart attack here. Work has been stupid crazy. Any how i have finished the exhaust and only need to cut a hole in the fender.

Current speed bumps are a few. I have been starting and running the engine for only about a minute because i have no radiator but i am not getting an oil pressure reading. I first was very scared that i didnt have any pressure, but i also have ZERO gauges on the dash.

Me thinks i cut the wrong wire SOMEWHERE ... so the search continues for that.

Last night i was able to fab up a clutch fork. Basically what i did was cut the end of the clutch fork off then moved the bottom of the piece i cut off to the top. Basically off set it then welded it back up.

Will take pictures of the finished part tonight and post it.

How do i post a video from my phone to jeepforum? Everything i try says the video file is to large.

The next pictures are of my new Borgeson HD steering shaft. Easy easy upgrade just darn expensive. I had to do it because my old orginal was shot.

Basically just used a square and scribed two lines then punched the hole location drilled and taped.

Well fellas the rat race calls my name. I am working my weekends to pay for Oscars heart transplant . I will take and post all the updates tonight.
