All of the wheels are finally painted black (Rusto's Hammered) and put back on. I also got the top out and put it on for the first time since I bought the Jeep. I actually thought it was going to be missing pieces, but it's all there, not the best top, but it will do till I can get a hard top.
Lots of bird crap here!

washed with the top on

I also found a decals package on ebay

Finally got a couple of things to add.
I found a spare tire in the junkyard out of a Cherokee with a brand new tire. I painted the rim and the spare tire carrier, however when I put the carrier back on, one of the nuts broke off inside the tailgate and it now free spins So, I'm going to have to dremel that when I get ready to paint the entire Jeep.
I also added the black hood catches I got off ebay.

new spare

got some seatbelts out of a Grand Cherokee......not sure if I'm going to be able to get them to work or not.

Can't wait to see it after it's painted, I'll also be doing a WWII themed XJ.
