It seems to be having a hard time running after starting it yesterday. The engine was cold, but right after I started it, it wants to stall if I don't give it gas. The idle is jumpy too. I took a look at the ignition coil and it looks pretty bad.

Did anyone drive it or at least start it while you were down in SD?

Ya my roommate had to move it once, but I drove it two days ago and it ran fine. The next day, it doesn't want to run correctly

Mkay well, The Jeep now runs fine for some reason. But I patched up the hole in my power steering reservoir with plastic weld (great stuff!) and now nothing leaks anymore!

I've been side tracked a little. My roommate and I have been working on a 1978 Porsche 924 for the Chump car races. We're supposed to have it ready in a few months for a race at Laguna Seca. But right now it's fully caged, has a cut out for a late 80s BMW grill, and new wheels waiting to go on. We need to get the starter in and fix the oil pressure gauge unit for it to run again. Plus a ton of other work to get it ready....

now back to your regularly scheduled jeeping

Navy blue with gold racing stripes. It's an NAU club race car and is the first time in chump car history that an official school car is racing.

Man I sold a third with an E loc 2 years ago that would have been perfect. I love the older toy axles almost unbreakable up to 38s.

It was nice finally, so after working on the engine and getting it to run correctly, I took the windows and doors off and took it for a little trail ride to use the 4-low and locker.

Also finished up the other disconnect

Changed the valve cover gasket today. I've been wanting to check what the inside looks like on this. It looks like it has 182k miles... The previous owner really didn't take care of this
